Case 112081: In the evening, Dennis [last name withheld] was outdoors with his telescope and binoculars – apparently one of his daily routines. “About 10:15, I was scanning the skies and came across a dark mass.” To Dennis, his initial impression was that it was a triangle, but on closer look, it appeared to be a boomerang-shaped object with five solid, rectangular panels on the near side and three panels on the far side. Dennis claimed that the panels had a “patterned gray surface”. The slow-moving object then proceeded on a straight path 45° above the horizon and between 500 feet to one mile distance. There were no sounds and no emissions. Dennis described the craft as about the size of a commercial jet aircraft.
