Students will listen to one audio lecture (varying in length from 60 to 85 minutes) for each of the 12 weeks of the course.

Additionally, students will also be required to read a section of UFOs and the National Security State, The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991.

There will also be weekly quizzes based on the course reading assignment. Each quiz will have a total value of 30 points, giving 300 points for all ten, roughly 30 percent of your final grade. There will be two weeks when there is no quiz.

There will also be a mid-term assignment and a final short essay to complete the course.

The mid-term assignment will be due on Week 6, and should be at least 500 words in length. This will be on a subject of your choice, but it must be related to the field of ufology.

The mid-term assignment will be worth 200 points, or roughly 20 percent of your final grade.

The second and final assignment should be submitted  at the end of Week 12, and will be an essay written by you of at least 1,500 words.

Again, it should be on a ufological topic of your choice. The essay will be worth 500 points, or roughly 50 percent of your final grade.

Throughout this course an instructor proxy will be available via email on a limited basis to discuss issues individually with students.

The availability of this instructor proxy has its limits, but he will do his best to be available for each of you,
